Hospice Happy With Rally Rendezvous
Continuing it's involvement with the local community, the Pirelli International Rally will again be hosting a party of young people from the Eden Valley Hospice and giving them a day out at the rally's headquarters at Carlisle Racecourse where they can mingle with the competitors and get a close up view of the cars. Additionally, this year they will have the opportunity to tour the various stands in the "Rally Village" where there will be various cars on display and exhibitions.
A spokesperson for the Eden Valley Hospice said, " This year we are hoping to bring along some of our younger patients to enjoy the hospitality of the Pirelli International Rally. We always have a great day at the racecourse in Carlisle and are made to feel very welcome. Our patients are treated to some "Rally car Fever" and always come away laden with Pirelli goodies, all of which are greatly appreciated.
Ed Graham, the Pirelli International Rally's Media Manager commented, " It is great to be able to give these young people a day out and to put a smile on their faces. We aim to see that they have a wonderful time and I am sure that all of our officials, and of course the competitors, will do their utmost to ensure they have an absolutely smashing time".
