Kwik-Fit joins forces with Pirelli to sponsor The British Rally Championship
Pirelli Tyres is pleased to announce that for the 2004 season it will join forces with Kwik-Fit, one of the worlds largest automotive parts repair and replacement specialists to sponsor the UK 's premier rally championship. The Pirelli British Rally Championship will now be known as the Kwik-Fit Pirelli British Rally Championship.
"We are delighted to be involved with the Championship that, like Kwik-Fit, covers the length and breadth of the UK " said Doug McKenzie, Kwik-Fit Marketing Director. "This series of events attracts the best teams and drivers in Britain and Europe and a growing number of spectators annually. We're expecting more than 1 million people to attend the nine events across the UK and many more to follow the Championship on TV."
The Championship, organised by BRCL Ltd, encompasses the finest International Rallies in the UK . Chairman of BRCL, Ian Coomber commented "It's great to see Pirelli's continued support for the British Rally Championship and we welcome Kwik-Fit to a great series."
Pirelli is demonstrating its continued commitment to the development of rallying in the UK from the grassroots through to the very highest echelons of the sport.
