Challange Crews Head For Carlisle |
The popular BRC Challenge series sees crews head up the M6 to Carlisle for the Pirelli BRC Challenge Rally featuring 6 stages, 2 in Kershope and 4 in the legendary Kielder Forest with the event conveniently based at Carlisle Racecourse which will host the Start, Finish and centralised service area. Round 1 winners, Matt Edwards/ Andy Murphy will be out in their Fiesta ST as will the similar car of Harry Hunt/ Steve McPhee which was 4th in Wales. Callum Black/ Paul Wakely will be looking for another good run in their MG as will Dick Archer/ Tom Ward in the Corsa. Quite a few drivers will be playing catch up in the chase for championship points, amongst those who failed to score on the opening round are Julian Wilkes/ Will Rutherford who retired with fuel pump problems, Eddie Meek who’se Puma lost it’s windscreen and Neil Coalter/ Hannah Cessford who went out with gearbox failure. The Pirelli BRC Challenge rally runs on Saturday 17th/18th April with the first car leaving the start at Carlisle Racecourse at 19:05. |
